Many homeowners struggle with mice. Mice are crafty at finding ways to food and shelter. They can warp their little bodies to squeeze through the smallest holes. How do you stop mice from entering your home?

The first thing you need to look at is your exterior. Is there a pathway for entry for these tiny little buggers? If so, then you need to remediate the issue.

Typically builders stuff insulation there and mice just love that! They now have a warm condo where they can assault your kitchen. Do yourself a favor and spray foam your rim joist in your house.

I would not suggest having a homeowner on the roof but it is a good idea to have someone walk the roof especially if there is not an attic access underneath. Overall, just being vigilant will help you save on future costs from a roof that fails early.
